Great Review for Cafe Envy Unplugged!

"Something I come across a lot here on the Sunshine Coast, is people wanting to know where they can find a great venue that provides entertainment, great food, an inviting atmosphere and can support local talent.

Cafe Envy certainly provides this and much more when it transforms from a day time cafe, into a live acoustic music lounge every Friday night. However music and mouth watering meals are not the only things that Cafe Envy provides to stimulate the senses, it also features its own little gallery, showcasing beautiful works of mostly local artists and photographers from right here on the Sunshine Coast.

This little venue certainly provides a great outlet for locals to get their artwork and music out there and for anyone who enjoys the perfect balance of great food, live entertainment and BYO, without the having to fight through the crowds of large over packed venues."

"Hey! My name is Jamie Edwards (jamieeddy),
and I’m an artist & graphic designer.
I’ve lived on the Sunshine Coast my whole life and
I’ve always been amazed by art when I was a kid,
but it wasn’t until high school that I took the
profession seriously. Now that I’m out of school
and college, I’m taking on the art world as much as
I can! I design a variety of things such as clothing,
tattoos, logos, posters, and paintings/sketches.
I’ve also launched my own clothing label
with my business partner, it’s called
‘Loud Life Industries’, you can check it out at

I hope you all enjoy my work!"

Photography has this magical ability to be able to capture a moment in time, to tell a story without using words. My goal is to tell you a story without ever saying a word.

A night of JAZZ

Cafe Envy Unplugged audiences are in for a genuine Jazz feast on Friday October 12th as Robyn Brown, Sassy Jazz will perform an intimate set that promises to be full of smooth elegance, warmth and passion.

With a great love of music as a means of expressing what’s in the heart, Robyn uses Jazz as her vehicle of expression. Inspired by the early Jazz and Blues greats such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday and with a love of the passion in Gospel and Blues music, her heartfelt renditions of Jazz and Blues standards convey subtle moods and tell a story as she sings.

Robyn's love of improvisation and scat means every performance is unique. From an intimate duo to a cooking four or five piece band, Jazz lovers are always assured of quality entertainment.
