Watermelon Not Just A Pretty Face

Feeling a little rushed or tense?
The humble watermelon is more than just a pretty face. Watermelon helps reduce moderately elevated blood pressure by providing a rich source of the amino acids, citrulline and arginine, both known to relax vascular pressure.

Next time you're in, try our Gluttony Juice with watermelon, rockmelon, strawberry apple and mint, delicious!

Cafe Envy Cotton Tree and Mooloolaba for Best Food!

We were chuffed to see both our Cafe's listed as two of the best spots to visit for great food at our end of the coast.
"When I saw Tourism QLD’s campaign asking for bloggers to talk about how they would boost their Vitamin Me levels with a trip to QLD, it made me think about about how lucky I am to be be spoiled by my little region of Qld every single day." Krista  http://www.mylookbook.com.au

I'll just get my bag, man.

The man-bag, an accessory that divides men and excites women.

The distinguishing characteristic of the man-bag is that one strap is draped over one shoulder, leaving your possessions hanging at your side or bouncing on your bum and so long as that central strap does not form a river between a mighty set of nipple peaked man boob mountains then the look is sophisticated and practical.

The validity of the man bag is often questioned, the man traditionally does not need to carry around a lot of stuff. The regular ‘going out’ ritual for bag-less men will be ‘wallet, phone, keys. Check, check, check, right let’s go’. Strap on a man bag and it becomes ‘wallet, phone, deodorant, diary, pen, sunglass cleaner, lip balm, guitar pick, coins, shells, ear phones...Shit, we’re late and have you seen my keys?’

You will find the positives over power the negatives on this one though. A bag for a man is a priceless piece of practicality. It is a statement of a man’s sophistication, i.e ‘I have enough important and interesting stuff in my life that I must carry some of it around with me’. Girlfriend’s also love the fact that she can now share the burdensome load of her handbag with you, constantly slipping nail files, tissues and tampons into the unsuspecting man’s bag.

If you’re unsure or your man is unsure about taking the plunge into man-bag mayhem, don’t be. You will wonder what you did without one and as long as you don’t get caught calling it a man-satchel then your street cred is sure to increase.

Envy's bags, for men and women.

You can pick up a unisex bag for your man, woman or even better, for yourself at cafe Envy. They are all local, all original   and all made from 100% recycled products (old coffee sacks in fact, how cool is that!)

SAHARA BECK

She's quirky, sweet, fun and talented beyond measure, see her perform an intimate set Friday 5th of October at Cafe Envy Unplugged.

Haling from the Sunshine Coast, acclaimed 16 year old singer songwriter Sahara Beck is known affectionately as the girl with the curls who wears her heart on her sleeve.

One of our nations leading Generation Z Troubadours, her signature sound combining smoky vocals, melodious hooks and sweetly fun guitar licks, weaves stories in song of love wanted, found and lost that combine an engaging mix of innocence and mischief.

Sahara's unmistakeable gift for original song writing that far surpasses her age won her the Queensland Music (Schools) Award in August this year. Just one of the many accolades to come for this songbird who's talent will no doubt take her all the way to the stars.
